This 3G enabled Motorola Tablet runs
on the Android 3.1 (Honeycomb) OS, which makes it the first tablet to
ship with a Tablet-optimised OS. Motorola has entered the tablet war with all
guns blazing, the Xoom boasts of an impressive spec sheet featuring a Dual
Core processor, 10.1-inch display, 32 GB of internal storage and Dual cameras.
Specially developed for Tablets, the
Android v3.1 (Honeycomb) is unlike any of the previous Android Operating
Systems. Google has designed a unified User Interface featuring a new
ever-present Google search button on the homescreen along with a voice search
button. The Honeycomb gives you the freedom to place widgets anywhere on
your homescreen. Furthermore, it is more responsive and better optimised
for reading magazines and playing games.The Xoom is powered by a 1 GHz
Dual Core Processor, which allows the Xoom to handle even CPU intensive
apps like HD gaming. The Tablet supports Adobe Flash Player which

camera with LED flash and digital zoom on this Motorola Tablet supports HD
video shooting. The Xoom also features a front facing 2 megapixel camera

Design
The Xoom measures 249.1 x 167.8 x
12.9 mm and weighs 730 g. Motorola has fitted the Xoom with an anodized
aluminum black body with matte finish. The most noticeable deviance in the
Xoom, compared to other Android Tablets, is the absence of physical Menu, Home,
Back and Search buttons. These are replaced by auto-orientating soft menu
buttons. The Xoom packs a Proximity Sensor for auto-turn off, Ambient
Light Sensor for auto-brightness adjust, an Accelerometer for
auto-orientation and a Gyroscope for a richer gaming experience.
Battery and Storage
Powered by a 24 Whr battery, the
Motorola Xoom can go unplugged for 9 hrs on 3G networks, and 10 hrs when
connected to a Wi-Fi. This Android tablet comes with 32 GB of internal
storage and accepts microSD or microSDHC cards up to 32 GB.
Connectivity and Features
The Motorola Xoom supports Wi-Fi
connectivity for web browsing and is preloaded with a new improved Webkit
browser. The Android Tablet comes with micro-HDMI port to connect to a
